Do You Need To Raise Money For A Cause Or Do You Know Someone Who Needs Help Paying Medical Bills Due To A Sudden Illness?

Hello,

You may or may not already know me but if you don’t my name is Nick Fosberg and I am a local business owner in the Rockford area who helps families and charity groups raise money for their cause.

I’ve helped many people in the past raise money for various reasons due to unfortunate situations.

One of my goals for 2011 is to raise $10,000 for St. Jude Children’s Hospital.  The way I plan on doing this is by hosting different events every month at my business. The events planned so far for 2011 are Steak Dinners, All You Can Eat Pasta Dinners, Bag Toss Tournaments, and Guest Bartending Events.

I own Casey’s Pub in Loves Park and we added an addition to our building about 2 years ago. Over the past 6 months I’ve been doing what I can to try to give back to the community.  I use the added space for benefits, charity events, and parties. Every month I host a dinner where 100% of the proceeds goes to St Judes.

I received a call not to long ago from a loyal customer and he told me he wanted to have a benefit at Casey’s to help raise money for his father in law who just found out he had lung cancer. He didn’t have insurance or money to cover the outrageous medical bills.

I felt horrible for him and I wanted to do whatever I could to help his family with their  situation. He asked me how much it would be host a benefit there. I told him I would do it for free and that I had a great idea to help him raise more money. I said that I would donate all the food and let him charge per plate and keep 100% of the proceeds in which is to be used for his father in law’s medical bills. At that time it made me want to give more away to help him and his family, so I gave him a $500 valued party package to give a way as a raffle to raise even more funds.

He couldn’t believe I was doing this but I wanted to help a friend out. After the event I saw tons of smiling faces and he told everyone at the benefit what I was doing for him. I’ve never been thanked so much by people and it made me feel really good about myself.

That’s when I felt I should do this for everyone. I run a great business, make a decent amount of money, and I feel that if I can give back and make a difference in someone’s life, what can be better than that.

So I Decided To Do This For Anyone Who Needs Help Due To Sudden Illnesses.

I will donate all the food for your benefit or charity event. Yes you read correctly! I don’t charge you anything for the food and you can charge per plate to raise the money you need and keep ALL the money.

There’s no room fee either. This is all 100% free as long as the money is going towards helping someone in need because of a dramatic situation or to a charity organization.

Why Am I Doing This?

To be completely honest with you I believe that if you give you will receive and what I wish to receive is loyalty and respect. I’m giving away 100% of proceeds and if everyone knows that I hope I get some returning customers from it.

There are thousands of businesses in the world that say they will give 10% or 20% of their profits away. To me this is BS! If you really want to help someone give them 100%. These businesses are just trying to find ways to reap the profits off of someone’s pain or cause.

I think you are one very caring and special person. I don’t know how you provide so much and still stay in business. I think all that you is fantastic. I sell supplemental insurance and deliver claim checks so I also know firsthand what families go thru when faced with cancer, a serious illness or accident, transplants, and premature babies. I care very much about my clients and help them in every way possible. I will definitely refer you to any families in need I come in contact with. I would like to do more. How can I help be part of this great, caring thing you are doing for our community?? Please contact and let me know how I cna help.

This is amazing! I work @ Jaks in South Beloit and we have done things to raise money for the humane society, MD and now the March for Babies. Volunteering with Make-A-Wish, I have started seeing how truly great people are when they put the effort into charities. With that said, be very proud that you are impacting so many people and doing what you feel is the best! You may not make a ton of money on those days but I can guarantee you at least one new customer:)
